Many of you may know we are putting together a tribute book to honor Father Linus Mendis who will be celebrating his 50th Ordination Anniversary in October. He is a most beloved priest, brother, friend, and colleague.
Please fill out the form below with your remembrance for inclusion in the booklet.
Some remembrance suggestions:
•    Be specific; share stories and details and moments in time to illustrate WHY you care about him (rather than “I care about him so much.”)
•    Don’t be afraid to be funny. Father has a great sense of humor and would love to read memories of him that make us all smile and laugh.
•    You may choose to write ABOUT Father, or TO him—whichever feels more comfortable to you. If it seems natural to write a brief letter directly to Father Linus, then do so; your words will resonate most if you write them how you would speak (in other words, forget about sounding formal and worrying about “writerly“ things—just speak from the heart).
•    Children are invited to write. If they would like to write their own message, please fill out the form separately for them, and again, do not worry about grammar, Father will love their exact words.
